I’m Chris, The VP of Design at Travelnest. Today I’m incredibly excited to introduce a refresh to our brand and website. We’ll cover what it means for us, and you, going forward.

Your home for hosting

We may look a little different. However, our mission remains unchanged and is crystallised in our new headline "Your home for hosting". For us, this is more than words and represents an unwavering focus on providing the best possible experience across all aspects of hosting your vacation rental. You’ll see more of this in the coming months as we launch great new features that help us achieve this.

We also identified three key themes that guide the development of our products and services: Start, Promote, and Manage. These themes cover every aspect of hosting, from preparing your property for guests and promoting it to a wider audience to managing bookings and communicating with the guests themselves.

Our new symbol is more than just a logo. It’s a visual representation of Travelnest's core principles and values. It embodies our commitment to your growth and represents the comfort and familiarity of home. We knew our old mark lacked ambition and didn’t have the scalability we needed based on the ambitions of Travelnest itself. We believe that The Nest and the rest of our new brand better represent us in our goal of being the undisputed leader in the vacation rental hosting industry. It will serve as a reminder of the importance of creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests, and of the hard work and dedication that goes into being a successful host.

We know that a brand is more than just a logo and pictures and that the product itself is critical to how you work. Whether it's through communication with our stellar support team, surveys, or conversations with our product and design team. We believe that your feedback is crucial in helping us improve our platform and deliver the best possible hosting experience.

Over the past six months, we’ve been committed to launching new features and improvements, and we are just getting started. We know that hosting your vacation rental can be a challenging task, and we want to make it as seamless as possible.

Better mobile support

Our product wasn’t great on mobile, we know. But we’re delighted to announce we’ve completely redesigned and rebuilt the navigation to help. This is just the first step in us delivering a first class mobile experience for managing your properties on the move.


Ability to take bookings direct and lower your fees

High fees is something we hear about a lot. Travelnest actually takes just 5% from you for all our services with the rest being charged by the channels. Through our new product, Travelnest Direct, you receive your own property website on which Travelnest will take bookings and manage the payments and calendar sync. You can learn more on our feature page or by accessing Direct in your account. We’ve also revisited how we explain our fees on the new website.


New channels for greater reach

We’ve just recently added Plum Guide and Holidu as new channels and can already see the bookings rolling in for our hosts. We’re continually looking at new opportunities for our hosts and ensuring your properties are getting the best reach possible.


Guest messaging

As the late Bob Hoskins used to say, it’s good to talk. Being able to contact and chat with your guests is critical to delivering a first class hosting experience. We’re currently beta testing guest messaging with a small selection of hosts and are really happy with the results so far. We want to deliver the best possible unified messaging experience for our hosts and can’t wait to get this into your hands.
